MarketLife Ep 10 – Tuning out negativity and fear

Podcast-Cover300In this episode:

Tony C asks: How to tune out negativity and fear from the media?

  • Understand the nature of media-driven information: It’s constant and emotionally charged. The media has leveled the playing field and made the world a better place, but we need to understand the information we receive.
  • Realize that some people are just permabears and fearmongers. Tune them out. Put them on permaignore. Done.
  • Understand that the market is the leading indicator. Wait for information, and it’s too late!
  • Learn to read the market and approach it professionally.

Mika asked: Why do I [Adam] do the things I do like this podcast, blog, trading course, etc. Since the answer was personal, I’ll let you listen, rather than write notes here. 🙂

Thank you all for your ongoing support of this podcast. You listening and thinking about the podcast is support enough, but if you want to go a step further, an iTunes review (here) would really help me out.  Thank you, and, for those who have already reviewed, many thanks to you as well.

Also, if you like the music for this podcast, then be sure to check out Brian Ashley Jones, my friend, and a fantastic singer-songwriter. He has a new CD out, Out of the City (or here, on iTunes) that you might enjoy!

Enjoy the show!
